With the festive season just around the corner, the ARA has
conducted two surveys to track expectations for the 2008
Christmas retail trading period. The first was the 2008 ARA
Retail Expectations Survey measuring the expectations of ARA
members for the 2008 Christmas trading period. The second
survey was the Deloitte ARA Christmas Retail Survey which
tracked consumer sentiment and intended buyer patterns for
the 2008 Christmas trading period.
