ARA is entering into a three year exclusive agreement promoting Allianz as the preferred workers’ compensation provider for its members. ARA Industry Cover – the ARA Workers’ Compensation Program – is specifically designed for businesses and members across the retail industry.
The ARA Industry Cover program will be a national program. The program was launched in NSW during 2006 and the Victorian program launch is now proceeding. The benefits of Industry Cover include:
- Reduced costs through superior claims management
- Improved cash flow via monthly payments of premium
- Improved customer service, including dedicated account management
- Pro-active education and training on OH&S issues.
Allianz, one of Australia’s leading private workers’ compensation insurers, was selected based on their established track record.
The new program is designed to deliver strategic management of workplace risk, statutory compliance, dedicated account management and improved management of premiums.
Members with premiums of more than $1,000 and less than $100,000 a year will automatically qualify to have their workers’ compensation premium funded through Allianz subsidiary company, Hunter Premium Funding (subject to no adverse previous history with Hunter) which will enable them to pay their premium in monthly instalments. ARA members can elect to enter the program by completing the Industry Cover section included in their next ARA membership renewal document.
Enquiries can be directed to ARA’s dedicated Industry Cover Account Manager on 1300 20 40 11.
