Australian Retailers Association participates in Energise Enterprise The Australian Retailers Association proudly participated in the Victorian Government’s Energise Enterprise 07- Victoria’s Small Business Festival, a showcase event for people looking to start or build their small business.
This year, the four-week festival was bigger and better with over 400 events taking place across metropolitan and regional Victoria throughout August.
The festival program represented the energies of 150 government agencies, industry associations, business groups and community organisations that are committed to encouraging and assisting the development of our dynamic small business sector.
Energise Enterprise 07 included information sessions, training workshops, conferences, seminars and networking events – all designed to create opportunities for small business to be inspired, informed and to improve their management skills. An extensive range of topics were also covered including, business start-up, exporting, franchising, marketing, grants and succession planning.
ARA’s contribution to Energise Enterprise 07 was offering free Improving Business Skills for Retailers workshops over two days in August. Over 100 participants attended the workshops gaining an insight into retail best practices from ARA specialist trainers.
